Secretand Conventional Weapons built in the galleries of  Garda Lake during the Second World War

During the last period of the Second World War, the German Industries, daily bombarded by the British Bomber Command and the Eighth US Air Force, were forced to move underground systems in its ability to war production, especially aircraft factories and new Hitler's secret weapons  : mainly jet aircraft Me 262 and Me 163 V1 and V2 rockets.
Germany and occupied areas became so much a maze of tunnels, bunkers and caves such as Dora Mittelbau near Nordhausen, where thousands of prisoners died. All of this for historians and history buffs is made known. Less known, however, is the story of the factories in the tunnel or cave that also on the Italian territory, especially the Veneto and Trentino, who saw their development with some plants already started in 1943 as Costozza in Vicenza, Quinzano and Avesa in Verona, Cimena Chivasso and many others, but, above all, with the conversion at the end of the war industry and over 70 galleries on the Garda lake.
Virtually all Italian companies of a certain strategic importance, such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ducati, Isotta Fraschini, workshops Reggiane, Beretta, found refuge in the tunnels of the lake or in the galleries Caproni in Torbole.
The production results were not as high as the development of protected works could promise, but allowed him to save at the end of the war, a large part of the Italian mechanical manufacturing equipment, which after the war served to give development to the reborn Italian mechanical industry

The documentary Mauro Vittorio Quattrina, tells for the first time on video, after 65 years since the end of World War II, the unknown story of these galleries through the testimonies of those who worked in those tunnels or who has found documents of the family 'period - from their formation until the arrival of the Americans.

Today, sometimes carelessly, driving on road sections of the lake during the war saw the tragic events that took place in an environment of great spectacle, and no one ever imagine that in some tunnels of Lake Garda were built pieces of the famous  secret weapons of Hitler as Messerschmitt 163 and 262 airplanes or rockets v1 along with other processes for new generation of weapons or conventional weapons that could change the course of history. And who then, imagine that comfortably seated at a bar in Torbole tourists can just imagine the harbor saw the launch of new submarines reaction?
This, too, is told in the video, with a series of testimonies and documents largely unprecedented for a documentary, with the help of witnesses, scholars, cultural and historical associations, departments of culture in the various municipalities concerned have given their active contribution the realization of the video. Among the interviewed historians Giordano Bruno Guerri, Giorgio Danilo Cocconcelli, Paolo Savegnago, Luigi Carretta.
